“She will flourish like a palm tree…”
— Psalm 92:12
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Psalm 139:14

We have hired/employed the exploited for 34 years. Tamar is a faith-rooted, survivor-led nonprofit committed to walking alongside women after exploitation, not just in rescue, but in full restoration. Inspired by the biblical Tamar, we serve those who’ve been trafficked, abused, or abandoned through long-term reintegration programs focused on employment, identity, and spiritual renewal. Where others raise awareness, we quietly rebuild, one woman, one life, one story at a time.

Our Pillars
Employment Partnerships
We partner with safe houses and care programs to provide survivors with meaningful jobs while in care and beyond. Each role builds confidence, skills, and stability, turning work into a longterm, sustainable pathway to independence.
Faith-Based Mentorship
Faith is at the heart of healing. Our mentors walk alongside survivors with prayer, encouragement, and accountability, helping each woman rediscover her worth, rebuild her confidence, and grow in faith as she steps into a new life.

Empower
Through Color
Color 2 Go is a purpose-driven hair color brand where beauty meets restoration. We’re more than just color, we create jobs and second chances.
It all began with one question:
What if a box of hair color could spark a new beginning?
Every Color 2 Go subscription is packaged by a survivor, and every purchase helps fund Tamar’s programs for long-term restorative care, mentorship, and advocacy.
When you color your hair, you’re also coloring someone’s future with hope.
Partner With Us: Building Pathways to Restoration
Every gift helps provide safe spaces, mentorship, skills training, and faith-centered community for women rebuilding their lives after exploitation.
This is an investment in dignity, independence, and lasting change. Together, we can open doors to opportunity and write new chapters of hope.
