Tamar exists to help women rise from the trauma of human trafficking and exploitation. Led by survivors, we provide long-term restorative care, jobs, and mentorship that help women heal, rebuild, and thrive.

Who We Are
We have hired/employed the exploited for 34 years. Tamar is a faith-rooted, survivor-led nonprofit committed to walking alongside women after exploitation, not just in rescue, but in full restoration. Inspired by the biblical Tamar, we serve those who’ve been trafficked, abused, or abandoned through long-term reintegration programs focused on employment, identity, and spiritual renewal. Where others raise awareness, we quietly rebuild, one woman, one life, one story at a time.

We partner with safe houses and care programs to provide survivors with meaningful jobs while in care and beyond. Each role builds confidence, skills, and stability, turning work into a longterm, sustainable pathway to independence.

Faith is at the heart of healing. Our mentors walk alongside survivors with prayer, encouragement, and accountability, helping each woman rediscover her worth, rebuild her confidence, and grow in faith as she steps into a new life.
